"Bir gece aile odası tuttuk. Gayet konforluydu. Çalışanlar hem güler yüzlü hemde çok ilgiliydi. Çok yardımcı oldular. Mardin'e gelirsek yine tercih ederiz. Sadece kahvaltı beklentinin altındaydı.Sicak kahvaltiliklar özelikle kapalı sıcak bir yerde kalsa çok daha iyi olur du. Tabak yerine."

"L'hôtel est dans un très vieux bâtiment, ce qui fait tout son charme mais impose quelques contraintes comme les nombreux escaliers, ce qui est le cas partout à Mardin. Le petit déjeuner est très bon, la vue depuis la terrasse est magnifique et le personnel est très efficace et attentif à tous vos besoins. "The staff at Zabel are absolutely amazing—they genuinely try to make your stay comfortable. That said, getting to the hotel is no joke: there are a ton of stairs. With six suitcases, it was exhausting, and honestly, had we not already made the trip down, we probably would have canceled and chosen a hotel on the street instead. The staff were kind enough to send a girl to help with our bags when we arrived, but we felt bad and ended up carrying them ourselves. On the way back, they sent one guy...

"Absolutely beautiful hotel that has been carefully restored. Great location in the old town close to many restaurants. I booked a delux double that came with a shared balcony and worth the extra for this balcony area you can sit on. The room was beautifully appointed and very clean. Breakfast was plentiful and the valet parking was a highlight as parking would otherwise have been very difficult. Staff were very professional. Overall an excellent hotel and I would recommend it highly. "

"The hotel itself is unique and I stayed in one of the nicest hotel after a long time. The room was like a cave in ancient times which was modernised according to standards.
The receptionist 'Berken' did receive me, and he was kind, and helpful. Because of language barrier it was difficult for me to rotate from one place to another but thanks to him that he did help me out of the box.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone who loves rooftop views and drink Chai and wants to stay in peaceful hotel.

"My partner and I stayed in the king suite, Maridin Room. It was a gorgeously appointed room and the hammam themed barhroom was delightful! The real crowning jewel was the palatial terrace. We felt like royalty being able to relax out there looking over the Mesopotamian plains. The staff were very patient and helpful with us using translation apps, as neither of us spoke much Turkish or Kurdish. While few of them spoke any english, we got along without any trouble. They were very kind! I highly recommend staying here!"
