"Having arrived after 30hrs in the air and 2.5hrs drive from Auckland we could not have been happier with the Accomodation. From stepping into reception to be met with a friendly warm smile, to a clean, large studio apartment with everything we could need! I think they thought we were a little mad that we wanted to jump in the pool at only 15Degs outside ( the pool isn't heated) but it was just what we needed to refreshen up the muscles after nearly two days of traveling! "From arrival the host was amazing and while we requested a ground level room they had no idea our daughter uses a wheelchair and yet made it so easy for us to park our car. The motel is near the city but still so quiet and our NY's experience was amazing esp the fireworks display which was literally down the road. Clean facilities, great amenities and awesome for families even though there were only 3 of us. Thank you so the host and team who looked after us and made it a memorable stay ❤️ "

"The room was very clean and well-equipped but really could benefit from some refurbishment. The bed was comfortable and made up daily to a very high standard. The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water The receptionist was pleasant and welcoming and the cleaning staff were helpful and responsive. Overall, this is a very good place to stay. "

"This small boutique hotel is top notch. The bed is like sleeping on clouds 👌 Very clean and top of the range room amenities. You want quiet & peaceful this is it. Beautiful friendly hosts. Close to Devonport St which has a great variety of eating options. A few more meters towards the sea is The Strand where your spoilt with more food options. Cafes, restaurants in abundance. "Beautiful clean rooms. Unit we had was tucked away in corner, which was so quite it was great. Owners were lovely and very accommodating changing our room to a ground level room. Staff very hospitable and polite."
