" Karolynn and Chris were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped. The WiFi was the best I've ever had in a hotel, which was surprising given it's rural location. The breakfast was very good and there was a wide choice. We will use Disblair House again the next time we visit Aberdeen. Malcolm and June "

"Room was very clean and comfortable. Never heard any noise from the bar downstairs. Breakfast was cooked to order so fresh and hot. All staff very friendly nothing was a problem for them. Bar patrons were friendly and welcoming"

"Booked a twin and double room. Rooms clean and well appointed with a communal kitchen area for use by guests. Did not use breakfast service as we left in the morning before the hotel staff had arrived. Only small complaint was that the staff were unable to open the connecting door between the 2 rooms which would have made things a lot easier. "

"We didn't pick this place ourselves, as our original booking cancelled two weeks before our trip, so Expedia picked this one for us. The place was very clean and neat, owner was very friendly and helpful. Only thing we didn't like was that we couldn't use the washer and dryer as it was additional fees that weren't mentioned in the posting, and the dryer wasn't working right anyway they said in the house rules. "Perfect place to stay with a dog. The mattress could do with an upgrade but otherwise very comfortable although there was an overwhelming smell of cleaning products in the accommodation. Food is excellent. "

"The receptionist was far from welcoming - very matter of fact. I enquired to see if there was any cancellation with a dog friendly room - shrugged her shoulders and that was a no - not even I am sorry. Bar staff where we could take a dog was over the top - as we walked in announced to whole bar we were walking in - there was a very loud child approx 9 yrs old who he was encouraging to be even louder - we moved table. We have stayed here a few times but will not be back."
