"I really love staying at the Haya. The staff is great. The amenities are top tier. My room smelt a lil dewy upon entry, I was out of my room most of my stay. I would stay again."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel isn't the newest hotel but it is super cute and well kept. I love small hotels so this was perfect. We stayed for 6 days and thank the Lord had no issues. On the day of our arrival, Brooke at the front desk was very pleasant. We had a room that faced the inside part of the hotel where we could see the pool and the nicest part of the hotel. If you have a lengthy stay, definitely request it. Especially if you plan on sitting in the balcony area, like we did. Our room was cleaned daily with no issues. I actually saw lots of cleaning being done throughout the hotel during my stay. Which is always a plus. We requested and paid for a late checkout and had no issues there either. Free breakfast was a super plus. And it was good! The roach motel (roadway inn) across the parking lot. Gross. Definitely glad we were nowhere near it. Trashy, and sometimes loud! We only saw it when we parked our car. Thank the Lord. The pool towels need to be cleaned better and need to be replaced completely. They are super small. Like even too small for a kid. Something the hotel should definitely upgrade. The towels do nothing. Super thin and rough. That being said, Overall a good experience."

"I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately this stay did not meet expectations. The property is very outdated and appears to be in need of significant maintenance and deep cleaning. Our initial room had a strong mildew odor, and the bathroom was not clean. To the hotel’s credit, the manager was extremely kind, professional, and quickly accommodated our request to change rooms. While the second room smelled better, we encountered an even bigger issue: small roaches throughout the room, particularly in the bathroom. We observed them coming out of the walls, and some of the bathroom towels did not appear clean. The staff, especially the manager, were pleasant and helpful, which is why I did not give a lower rating. However, the condition of the property, cleanliness concerns, and pest issues made for a disappointing stay. The rooms need a thorough deep cleaning, and the property would benefit from updates and renovations."

"We were in Tampa to visit family. The hotel was in a good location for our needs. They also gave a free shuttle that will take you within 2 miles. Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean but a little dated. Did not use the amenities we were only here to visit family. "
