"It was impossible to enjoy the pool because there were a million kids also trying to enjoy the pool. Like 7 kids per family and multiple families in the pool room, all were exceptionally loud. The pool water was also murky. Everything else was fine we stayed 3 days and breakfast was the same thing every day. Scrambled eggs, flat sausage patties no potatoes no toast. Very boring."

"Room was clean, breakfast had good options, parking was a bit clustered because the parking lot is shared and is a very popular spot. Staff are friendly. Great spot for a hotel, most everything you’ll need is in walking distance. Our family will definitely be back. "

"My room was spotless, the kitchen area had everything you might need to do kitchen things, and if there wasn’t, they provided a plethora of items for free…you just had to ask. (I didn’t use or need anything, but they had a sign posted as an FYI). The bathroom, shower, linens were perfect and the desk/work area, laundry basket, etc were a perfect touch. Roosters across the road, Target less than 5 miles away…do I say more? If you plan a trip to Layton. Stay. Here. You’ll be glad you did :)"

"Staff was good but everything is really old and a little dingy. My mattress had a sunken hole in the middle. Faucets were really loud and the ac units are hard to maintain a temperature but they worked. Breakfast was ok. They did have some good sausage and some ok eggs. Biggest problem was the workout room. Treadmill died on me mid sprint. Luckily I’m nimble and recovered without injury but it stopped very suddenly. PLEASE FIX IT!"

"Staff was great and the overall building was clean and nice. My only gripe was the breakfast. $13 for literal freezer grade food was a bummer. Other than that, the stay was pleasant. "

"The rooms were noisey from rooms above and sides. You could literally here people walking back and forth and kids jumping arouund. Called the desk but the person was rude abourt it. We had no choice but to endure it all night. I wish we didnt stay here because we were so sleepy on our drive the next day. In addition the place was being renovated so it smell of chemicals which gave us headaches."

"This was probably the worst hotel I have ever been too. When they say you get what you pay for I guess they weren’t kidding. They told us you will get fined if you smoke in the room. My daughter and I went to our room and it smelled like an elderly women’s perfume with cigarettes. It smelt horrible. Thank goodness it was only a one night stay. We will never be back there. Everything was just outdated and dirty. The shower had hair in it and the bottom of the shower had dirty feet prints. Mind...

"This property was extremely old and not well maintained. There was police knocking on the door of another guest at the property."

"Room was clean and had extra pillows and blankets. Shampoo and other toiletries provided. Staff was professional and upbeat. Enjoyed the large lobby. Very comfortable. Breakfast wasn’t bad, but was premade, reheated discs of egg, sausage and rolls. I drink black coffee. I used five creamers today. "

"Our room smelled terrible. The sheets had holes and the fitted sheets did not stay on the mattress. Stains on most linens and on the mattresses. We had ants on our desk and floor. Peeling paint, stained tub, run down overall. It was not a room we could relax or enjoy being in and we tried to stay out and away as much as possible. Breakfast was ok, some hot and cold options and it was kept stocked throughout the 3 hour offering period. The location is great for quick drives to Salt Lake or...
