"Beautiful historic, loved its charm and location to the park across the street. Older hotel, so it did not have air-conditioning. During our trip it was pretty overcast and chilly, but our bedroom got very hot during the night. We had to use multiple portable fans. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We got the one bedroom suite, perfect amount of room for our family of four."

"It is a self check in process and you have to scan the QR code to check in after office hours. Staff was very helpful when he was there. Parking is convenient."

"Such a clean and charming bed and breakfast with so much character. The shared spaces are welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic each and every day! The staff is exceptionally helpful and kind. The neighborhood is safe with a lot of food options and corner stores nearby. If you drive here, parking is challenging but not impossible I look forward to staying here again in the future."

"Walking in the first thing I notice was the rooms were extremely small. No biggie. But then a few major things like plumbing was backed up so shower water filled up the floor and same thing with the bathroom faucets.. the power outlets did not work so I couldn’t charge my phone which ended up being a major issue for my night out. One of the worst properties I have stayed at. To make matters worse there is no one to physically talk to for check in so it just made it all that much more difficult....

"No carafe in the guest rooms. So, bring your own water bottle for refill. Refill stations only on 2 floors. No coffee or tea in rooms. Parking is best at the Japan Center. Pay more and park at the hotel but don't forget to book the parking at the time of reservation to avoid full lot on the day of arrival."

"This hotel has a very good location, near Haight St. where there's lots of shops and small restaurants, and within walking distance of Golden Gate Park (However, if you have a car, there is next to no parking.) But it is an old hotel and the rooms are small. And some rooms look out onto Fell St, which is noisy. So you have to deal with that. But the staff is very good and accommodating. Overall, the hotel gets the job done at a fair price. It's not a luxury hotel but you don't pay luxury...

"I LOVE THIS HOTEL!! It's my second multi-night stay in it. EVERYTHING in the "suggested subjects" was "MAX"! The "Community Room" on the first floor really HAD the feeling of ... well ... "community"....including a delightful number of aspiring young Entrepreneurs from South America - perfect English, of course! Clean; sunny-bright; great full-sized appliances including excellent microwave for charming array of coffee-tea-amendments; filtered water. Mind, I have NO reservations about...

"I rated it 5 stars relative to the price I paid. For the price, it absolutely delivers. It's very basic and pretty much just for sleeping and showering (it has shared shower). I spent most of my time outside to be honest and it was for few days only."

"1. It’s not a hotel, but a nice hostel. There were a few shared bathrooms and shower rooms for so many units on one floor. They are cleaning every day but still people are making those dirty so quickly. Some people didn’t even flush water. Some people didn’t wear clothes to go to restrooms. Such a hostel vibe. Just be aware of that 2. Space is very tight. One room is for one person. We were two unfortunately and there was not enough space to open our luggages. Definitely no place to sit and...

"Other than the block it’s on is the sketchiest one in San Francisco. if you need a no-frills, just a room to sleep and a place to stash your bags. This is the best joint 100 yards to the Bart station to/from the airport is perfect."
