Excellent property. Beautiful large room with fabulous views from the balcony. Staff is super helpful. Great breakfast and bar lounge for evening drinks looking out on the ocean. Only objection would be that you had to pay a fee to use the indoor pool and spa. Would prefer to have this included in the room rate as a five star property should not have add ons for amenities.

Magnificent!

A well-kept and beautiful Grand Hotel with magnificent views of the bay, a lot of charm and tradition. Ilsa la Toja is also a great starting point for visiting other parts of Galicia. The staff are very professional, service-minded and made the experience even stronger. Will definitely go back!

It is a beautiful hotel with a great history and stunning location. I stayed here in May when the hotel and general O Grove area is still quiet. This suited us. My parents considered changing their plans and staying on longer as they loved the location so much.

We had a wonderful stay here, except for one issue: dinners. The views are breathtaking and we really enjoyed the pool and spa. The staff is super friendly and polite. Breakfast is excellent and there are good gluten free options (as in the rest of Galicia). However, there is not much around the hotel, it is a place you go to get away from everything, and therefore we expected a reasonable dinner option to be available at the hotel. It wasn't. Dinner at the main restaurant was served from 9-11pm (with reservations). This is not inclusive of many foreign guests like ourselves who eat dinner much earlier. So we were left with the hotel bar, and there the food was absolutely terrible and overpriced. I'd read about this in previous reviews and unfortunately it's true. One night in we realised we'd have to drive to the mainland for dinner for the rest of our stay. We would have also appreciated a kettle and teacups in our room. This being said we loved our stay and would return, but taking into account the inconvenience of dinner. It detracted from what would otherwise have been a 5-star stay.

Es un hotel genial! Todo el personal es muy amable. Desde el señor que te ayuda a sacar las maletas del coche hasta Claudia de la recepción. El desayuno es muy bueno y variado. Las habitaciones son cómodas, silenciosas y las instalaciones del hotel son geniales. La piscina exterior así como la interior son grandes y tienen el agua a buena temperatura.

El Hotel es precioso, perfectamente conservado y con su esencia de una época de lujo. Las habitaciones, salones, cafetería, etc con mucho gusto y elegancia. El balneario permite una experiencia relajante. Y el desayuno excepcional, con unas vistas inmejorables. El personal muy amable. Una escapada de 10 y en un entorno privilegiado! :)

Hotel elegante, com lindas vistas e jardins.

Lindo hotel. Quarto grande, camas confortáveis. Há uma varanda maravilhosa de frente para os jardins da entrada do hotel. Fácil acesso, pelo jardim, para as principais atrações da Isla de Toja. A cidade ao lado tem ótimos restaurantes, com frutos do mar, muita fartura. Tudo maravilhoso porém nossa ida ao hotel foi pelas águas medicinais e nos frustramos ao saber que a piscina não é de água termal. Para ter acesso às águas medicinais é necessário fazer um tratamento individual. O café da manhã é bem variado e farto. Vários tipos de ovos, presuntos, e muito mais.

Belle decouverte

Séjour parfait sur l’île de la tosa, dans cet établissement de caractère. Tout dans cet hôtel est rafinement et luxe discret. La chambre, le petit déjeuner, le calme, la vue correspondaient à notre attente. Un terrain de golf pour les amateurs est accessible sur l’île à un prix discount si vous séjournez à l’hôtel.
