"One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Rooms were dirty. Sheets were stained. Bath tub was dirty. No toilet paper. Breakfast was horrible and very short on everything. Both days breakfast ran out quickly. Housekeeper went in to “clean” and the room was still the same. Don’t recommend. All the positive reviews must be fake. "

"We had a nice stay and it was comfortable. I also really like the fact it was so quiet around the hotel not a lot of hustle and bustle. Had an issue at check in due to the pet fee being added so then the computer showed I hadn’t prepaid which I had, it was pretty irritating after driving 6 hours. Luckily it got worked out. Our room was comfortable and spacious. There was a weird smell in the room kind of smelled like cigars and there was a lot of long dark hair around the room and bathroom....

"My husband and I booked this motel as a last minute spontaneous mini-trip to the bayfront of Corpus Christi. It looked like a good deal for a cute old school motel. It was okay, there were no bugs, no roaches and clean. The bed was comfortable (pillows not really but not bad either). The hot water worked great and the bathroom and tub were clean. "Charging $20 to check in 30 minutes early is why I won’t use this company again. Corporate greed! What happened to old fashioned common sense. The room is available. I told the lady at the counter we just want to drop our bags off and we won’t be back until midnight. We were the only people in the whole complex. She said it was policy. Best Western lost a customer for life!!"

"I hate to always point out the worse, but other than these problems, it was a great experience. The toilet in Room 426 did not operate correctly, and there seemed to be some mold in the shower. The elevator smelled of recent solvent fumes, and the floor was sticky for all three days of our stay. Breakfast was adequate but cold. Ice machines were only available on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The staff was great. "
