The owners were extremely gracious and helpful with anything I needed. Only downside is you do need a car as it is not in a walkable area. However apart from that Esh is really beautiful and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful

"Wow! My wife and I stayed here right after they opened, and we were so impressed. First, it's LUX. I've never experienced anything like it in Costa Rica. Everything is high-end, and no detail was spared when they built and appointed this place. The rooms are beautiful with the custom wood and stone work, the furnishings are mostly imported from Bali and it sets a great vibe. The beds are super comfortable (and bonus for the pillows, my wife has already purchased the same for our home in LA....

"The property is a short walk from the stunning beach, some of our favorite restaurants. This is a very new and exceptionally well-designed hotel. The rooms are fantastic, everything is brand new and visually pleasing. The pool area and cabanas are wonderful too. Staff is very friendly and supportive. They have a great consierge who booked a lot of activities for us - zip lining, ATV tour, surfing. Room maintenance and cleaning is superb. We were supposed to stay for a week and ended up staying...
