Esh was a really lovely place to spend my time in Nosara. The staff were beyond friendly and courteous, making me feel super welcome and taken care of. The rooms and design of the resort are beautiful, and the way they preserved the jungle and built around it creates a really beautiful and peaceful space. I will definitely be back again. This hotel was wonderful. Nestled in the jungle, the minimalist architecture and stylings encouraged contemplation. The services were top notch, the support outstanding, the beds comfortable and the facilities high quality. The breakfast was delicious, fresh and filling - it was included but was easily worth $25 per person minimum. The yoga classes were very good, the sauna and cold plunge available all day, and the staff super friendly. Thanks for an amazing stay, we hope to be back!

What a beautiful and relaxing space. The owners Jaime and Miri were wonderful, so sweet and friendly. Design is impeccable. Rooms thoughtfully laid out and stunning. The bed was so comfy. Had the best massage at the spa. Also loved the restaurant/bar near the pool. Great food and drinks. I ate every taco they have and they were all genuinely delicious. Can't say enough good things. Really enjoyed my stay, just an excellent place to rest and enjoy.

We stayed here for one night in Nosara and I wish it would have been more ! The hotel is newly open and simply beautiful. My stay here was beyond perfect. The team was super friendly and attended all my needs. It is one of the most beautiful places I have stayed at. The mexican food was incredible especially the barbacoa tacos. The design in the rooms was very aligned with the concept and they gave me a very personalized experience calling me by my first name during my stay. I couln't recommend this place enough and I will be back soon!

This property was absolutely amazing and the pictures do not do it any justice. Prepare to feel luxurious from the look and ambiance to the amenities offered. It is located in the middle of the jungle so the connection to the wilderness was closer than expected and very free so expect to freely see them roam. The staff were amazing and very patient!! They accommodated and resolved any issue that transpired and were so friendly and welcoming. From the owner, to the waiters and bartender to the other circulating staff members; they practically became family! This establishment is a huge 10 out of 10 for me and highly suggested so book early because they do tend to fill up fast.

I stayed here for one night and it was amazing. I wanted a place to get away and relax and I can’t think of a better place to do it. The whole place is beautiful and even though it’s easy to get to the beach I loved just being by the pool and being in the jungle. The staff was great, so friendly and helpful, the food amazing and great cocktails, just a perfect vibe. I would definitely go back hopefully for a longer trip!

This is a brand new boutique hotel so parts were unfinished (like the spa though in-room spa services were available). We had a standard king room close to the pool. It’s comfortable with indoor/outdoor shower, plenty of closet space and a mini fridge. The outdoor space is quite small but we spent most of our time on the loungers at the pool area which is lovely. The management and staff are very welcoming and helpful.

Everything was top notch from check in to check out. Brand new property with Zen design and quiet. Bed and shower super comfortable with strong yet quiet AC. Kitchen is the best in Nosara thanks to a top chef. Service across the board from landscaping to serving to management are committed professionals. So rare, so nice. It's up in the hills away from noise but within easy reach to the beach thanks to the shuttle.

Esh is a beautiful brand new luxury property. I only stayed for one night but the staff and amenities were amazing. The rooms are brand new and modern--has a very Tulum type vibe. The onsite restaurant was amazing. The owners were extremely gracious and helpful with anything I needed. Only downside is you do need a car as it is not in a walkable area. However apart from that Esh is really beautiful and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful luxury stay.

From the moment I stepped into this property I felt I was somewhere very different than what is used to here in Costa Rica. You can tell that a lot of love was put into this property, even the vibe is super peaceful and inviting. The service was fantastic everyone was very friendly and the food at Almar was one of the best restaurants I've been to in Nosara. I know it's a new property so I can't wait for their workout space and spa to be ready.

We went to this resort for our honeymoon. It is in the town of Nosara - a beach town that is approximately 5 hour drive from San Jose airport. We opted for small plane Green Airways on our return. Located off the beaten path, this resort is truly relaxing, quiet and beautiful. It opened 2 months prior to our stay, so everything looks brand new. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. The multi level pool is clean and beautiful and the restaurant has an excellent menu. They arranged transportation via a side-by-side to the beaches: Playa Pelada, and Playa Guiones. Both beaches are beautiful. Overall, highly recommend it.

One word: WOW!

Husband and wife team, Jaime and Miriam, knocked the hotel out of the park! Esh is obviously stunningly designed, but it’s their gracious bright personalities that really make the hotel extra special. We loved lounging by the pool and got four solid nights of sleep. The entire staff is warm and friendly, especially Andres, the bar manager, who we thoroughly enjoyed talking to on multiple occasions. With unique events and wellness focused activities well under way, there’s no doubt Esh’s star will continue to shine. Thank you for a fabulous stay!

We took a leap of faith by deciding to stay at a place so new that it has no reviews and that literally opened the day of our arrival. Thankfully, it paid off. At arrival we were greeted by the hotel owners Miriam and Jaime who were very excited to meet their first hotel guests. Their hospitality and attentiveness, as well as that of the hotel’s staff, throughout our long stay never wavered; going above and beyond. Our experience felt very personal and intimate. Also, it was very easy to communicate with them using the Esh Whatsapp number, and they arranged for us dinners and activities with local recommendations also. The Selva Suite Garden room was similar enough to the pictures with the exception of the private garden which seemed smaller than in the photos and not so private. We particularly liked the room vibe and design, the double outdoor rain showers and the closet space. As with any new operation there were kinks, but the Esh team handled any concerns we highlighted extremely well. Food at the hotel restaurant was good, with some dishes tasting better than others. We particularly liked the baja style fish taco, aguachile, and the grilled avocado salad. The spa and wellness center were not ready but we still did complimentary yoga in the mornings at the pool deck. There is a sauna however we did not use it. Overall, we had a pleasant and very personal stay at Esh thanks to the Esh team and we look forward to return in the future.
