"The hotel is decent, but not for the amount of money that they charged. The pool was broken so I couldn’t use it. There is a smell throughout the entire hotel that isn’t pleasant. Most definitely in need of renovation. Breakfast was decent, but very typical"

Just a few cons… The WiFi did not log on with room number, I was getting my kids to sleep so I asked n in the morning. They said they changed the WiFi, so they gave me an access code. "The hotel is very well maintained with a nice rooftop bar/restaurant. You can see Bryant Denny from there as well as downtown Tuscaloosa. Location was great for downtown Tuscaloosa, you can easily walk to restaurants and shops. Staff was welcoming and nice. Answered our questions with a lot of info. Has valet parking but we didn't need it for a June visit. Short drive to UofA campus, but probably not walkable."

"Properly grounds and staff were beautiful. The only issue was the hot water it took a long time to get hot and it didn’t get very hot. The towels and bed linen were soft and comfortable for showering and sleeping. I was in a suite and I would stay again in that exact same room,"

"If you like the smell of skunk weed and mold this is your place. The whole property felt damp and smells musty. There was mold in the shower. The blanket on the bed and sheets were stained. Im really not sure if the sheets were changed. I just hope we didnt get bed bugs."

Only thing I'd say that could improve are things that'll change with upcoming renovations...paint touch ups, roll-away bed was older than expected. Room was cleaned after first night, which is rare in this day and age. I'd stay again for sure."
