"I booked an economy twin room at the Alpaca Manor for a corporate stay. Manor is a short driving distance from important amenities including the Albany bus stop and the Albany Westfield Mall. The room I stayed in had wonderful amenities, including air conditioning/heating (such a treat in the colder weather) and underfloor heating in the bathroom. The room was very spacious, with plenty of beds, wardrobe space, and ample room to move around. The bed was comfortable and warm. Also..WIFI...

"Not much choice in Devenport - this hotel was bought by Chineses interests some years ago and they obviously do not like spending money on maintaining the property. Squeaky floorboards, squeeky doors, light above basin in bathroom not working, shower floor waste has unattached metal cap floating around the shower base, timber ventians in the sun room not working properly, one bedroom window cracked and repaired by sticking a sheet of adhesive backed imitation tiles (!) across it thereby blocking...

"Close to Westlake Girls College was the only reason for staying. Room clean enough but bathroom needed a deep clean and shower head was broken but there’s good hot water. Linen was clean. There were a number of broken things in the Unit & we took pictures incase we got charged for them. Parking was outside unit. No staff present and we didnt receive an email with details about collecting the key. Hard to ask questions over the phone before hand, as the person looks after a number of places."
