Hotel di North Shore

"We had a good stay here. The room had everything we needed for one night in Blackpool. It was a little farther from the main area than we had hoped but still walkable. Its an incredible building, but could use a refurb."

"Amazing stay here loved it. Will deffo be going again x"

"We have stayed at the Best Western Carlton a number of times over the last ten years and never encountered anything to grumble about. Always comfortable and happy there with helpful and friendly staff."

"Always stay here when going Blackpool food is lovely nice hot tub and a swimming pool"

"Always a nice stay here, a quite area on the promenade, but only a few mins from the hustle and bustle. Great live entertainment every night. Stayed here about 6 times now, an ideal place for your holiday base."

"The room had been newly decorated to a good standard. Excellent in room facilities. When I complained about the room being cold they immediately provided a plug in heater. Walkable distance from Blackpool north rail station."

"Very clean, good breakfasts, entertainment was reasonable only complained i had was the size of the bed, definitely not a queen bed, maybe a 3/4 or small double bed (48") and the mattress was very springy and uncomfortable"

"Easy access with parking available at a small charge. Friendly hosts. Very clean throughout. Breakfast was delicious & bar is well stocked for a quick drink before heading out."

"The room and beds were clean, place is in need of updating and apart from being woken at just after 3am by the fire alarm ( which is not hotels fault) we had a good stay and being able to bring our dog was a great asset."

"I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant place to stay. I would happily return in the future."

"The Woodleigh was a very nice find for us. It is small and was ideal for our one night stay in Blackpool. Our room, on the first floor was small, with a comfortable double bed and the en-suite bathrooom, although small, was spotlessly clean. Parking outside is hit and miss, but we were lucky and were able to park right outside. While we were there, the proprietor was unable to provide a breakfast, cooked on the premises because the facilities had not been finished yet. It was not a problem for...

"Good location and a fridge and microwave in room. Bathroom was modern as was room and furnishings. Unfortunately no milks or coffees provided. The mugs were not particularly clean. The shower gel needed to be refilled. Small things but a bit of a pain! Hence the lower score."

"Absolutely fantastic blackpool hotel. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good quality and the hosts really care about your stay. Best break we have had in Blackpool. A little further to travel being in the North Shore area but so worth the effort in terms of quality and experience. Highly recommended."
