"Great location, nice beach"

"Upon arrival, it was pouring rain and my wife and I had drove in from another part of the country. Not one staff member looked over at us to address us, or tell us where to park the car, they did not come out and greet us with umbrellas or anything of that nature. The staff did not tell us or inform us thoroughly about the dinner reservation scenario. "Place was great and you can tell the property is brand new . The only bad thing was the breakfast. They ran out of food with an hour still left for the time designated for breakfast. Everything else was excellent . I will give them a second Chance in the future"

"The property was not exactly what we expected. The photos make it appear that you can step right out of your room onto the beach, but because we booked a two-bedroom unit, our room was on the second floor instead. The staircase leading up to the room was very narrow and slippery, which felt unsafe. I would not recommend this property for older adults or anyone with mobility concerns. The room was missing some basic amenities. There were no hand towels, and only the roll of toilet paper already...

"We had an amazing stay at the surf lodge! Super friendly staff, delicious breakfast options included. The hotel rooms were impeccable clean. Nice pool area to relax. The surf breaks was pumping!!!! Take lessons with Parallel Surf - 100% recommended. Gonna be back soon!"

"Me encantó la estancia en Catalina Tropical Lodge. Desde que llegamos se notó la atención al detalle y la amabilidad de todo el personal. Llegamos de noche y el guardia ya nos estaba esperando con la llave lista; incluso nos acompañó a la habitación y nos mostró un poco de las instalaciones. Algo que me gustó mucho fue la vista por la mañana, ya que por la altura en la que se encuentra el hotel se logra ver el mar entre la vegetación. También me encantó el jabón de manos de lavanda y vainilla....

"Es la segunda vez que visito este resort y han perdido mucha calidad en la comida y en todo en comparación con la primera experiencia, ya ahora si llega antes 3pm no le permiten entrar a almorzar y lo hacen esperar sentado en el lobby al menos que page $10 dólares por persona por el early check in para poder entrar a almorzar y como quiera nos dieron la habitación a las 4pm.
