"The hotel was quite charming and the staff was friendly and helpful. While it was nice to have the option for breakfast, the food was ok compared to the delicious alternatives available in nearby boulangeries!
PROS:
The air-conditioning in the room was AMAZING. They had a mini-split AC unit that kept the room at the required temperature.
Also, it was nice to have parking available (for a fee) and the location was very convenient to nearby restaurants and points of interest.
CONS:
The only room for improvement would be that our shower drain did not drain very well at all. We notified the front desk and while they did seem to fix the issue, the shower drain was clogged again immediately after one use. We were checking out that day so we did not continue to press the issue.
Also, the towels were quite threadbare and rough and the bathroom seemed to have a damp, musty odor. (Possibly because it is an old building and we were on the first floor?)
Overall, it was not a luxurious stay, but it was perfectly adequate and very convenient for our needs! For the very reasonable price, I would recommend staying here."
