What a fantastic stay we had. We came for the food (top notch restaurant) but fell in love with the town too. The hotel is brilliantly situated and also has an excellent cafe concession in town. Try the truffle scattered scrambled eggs. At the hotel, we had a 7 course dinner of dreams. Staff couldn't have been nicer. There is a lovely spa area in the basement too.

One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed - hotel is an old palace and the whole place is so unique. Only thing was it was a bit challenging to find the ‘front desk’ to check in (not the typical counter you expect to see at a hotel) so took us a little bit to check in etc but was such a lovely place to stay

I have been traveling in Tuscany and Umbria for the last 2 weeks. Of all the places I went this hotel alone made a difference in my travel. Wonderful owner, service staff and chef they are the EPITOME OF HOSPITALITY. It made me realize the next time, I am planning an Italian vacation it will be in Umbria. Once again, I want to thank Palazzo Seneca for making our vacation memorable.

Pleasant enough but ...

The hotel was pleasant enough, although not as well appointed as the web material had suggested. Given the cost of the accommodation, we had expected a bit more from the facilities, especially when compared with other accommodation in which we had stayed in Umbria. The hotel restaurant was very expensive. The location of the hotel was good. The staff were friendly and attentive. I am well aware that we were visitors in another country so it is a courtesy to us - as well as a business necessity for the hotel - to speak in English with English speaking guests. Some of the staff responses to our questions left us wondering exactly how much they understood.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel, gemakkelijk restaurant aan de overkant, goede locatie. Maar een te donker hotel, veel en veel te weinig licht en of lichtpunten. Zeker kamer 206, hebben we dan ook geweigerd, zo donker! Je zou er claustofobisch van worden. Verder is t hotel ook te slecht verlicht, binnen en buiten.

Struttura ottima in posizione centrale. Personale disponibile e gentile. Camere come da attese anche se la loro insonorizzazione non è granché. colazione molto buona anche se mi aspettavo di più come varietà e mi sfugge la necessità di chiedere un extra per le uova Benedict. Mettete in bagno qualcosa per appendere gli abiti!

値段に見合ったホテルの内装や室内の雰囲気ではあったが、1人のフロントの店員の態度が悪く、最終的に嫌な思い出となった。 既にホテルズドットコムを通じて支払いを完了させているのに、チェックアウト時に同額の支払いをさせられそうになった。それを指摘するも全く謝罪もなく、逆に不満そうな顔をされた。ホテル全体でそのようなことをやっているのかとさえ思ってしまう残念な出来事であった。

Hotel delizioso

L’hotel si trova in una posizione davvero ideale per girare il centro storico e visitare la città. Le camere sono davvero molto confortevoli e spaziose. Il bagno nuovissimo e molto ben illuminato con doccia grande. Il personale è davvero molto gentile e cordiale, rendendo il soggiorno davvero piacevole!

A really lovely and luxurious place to stay. We loved the tour around the palace when we first arrived and appreciated hearing some of the history of the building. Parking was very easy when we arrived and very close to the hotel. The staff were super friendly and all spoke English to an exceptionally high standard. The breakfast was excellent with a very good choice and the view from the windows of the surrounding buildings and mountains was wonderful too.
