"The hotel is outdated and in need of renovation, particularly the guest rooms. The location was inconvenient and not close to the places we wanted to visit. The front desk staff were not particularly welcoming or friendly, which made the overall experience less enjoyable. However, the restaurant staff were excellent—friendly, attentive, and professional. "The rooms were large and clean. Only body wash and shampoo in the bathroom. No hair conditioner. No real cupboard, just a few hangers in a sort of cupboard. There was an iron and an ironing board. Breakfast was okay for us, we don't eat all the food there was served (buffet breakfast). They had snacks so we had a pizza. The receptionists were excellent, so helpful. Also the waiters in the dining room were very helpful. It's a good place for one night before a flight or a cruise."

"Lovely setting, great welcome, food superb, staff friendly and helpful We had the suite (kingfisher) which was an excellent room except for a radiator being stuck on in the bathroom. The lady in charge (lovely lass) managed to get it sorted as the outside temp was up in the 30’s!!! If I have any criticism of the room, a little use of bleach would have gone a long way but please don’t let that put you off. The place is very very good. "Friendly staff. Excellent food offering. Good location. A shame about my shower control falling apart and an extractor unit that looked as though it had seen better days. In the heat, the air conditioning in the room was excellent and very welcome. It would have been nice if it had operated throughout the hotel. I will be happy to stay there again"
