Hotel Dekat Nile Theater

"This was a perfect landing spot for us for our visit to the area. The only challenge was parking, though we were able to find close, free parking. You may have to work to find it if you arrive during a busy time. Located slightly off Main St., there are lots of options for food and shopping. Most of the restaurants and shops are closed on Sundays, though. The apartment was the perfect size for the two of us. I am a tall person, so the bed was not as comfortable (Queen-sized) as I needed, but...

"The hotel needs a serious make over. We stayed there 15 years ago and I think nothing has been upgraded. There were numerous Little League families staying and it was super noisy, even late at night, with kids running the halls. I finally had to get dressed and address the situation. Feels like we should get a refund as we were forced to end our 7 night reservation after 2 nights and go elsewhere. It really disrupted over vacation. "

"The room was extremely dated and had a strange, lingering smell. The air conditioner was so loud that it made it impossible to sleep at all. Most importantly, this hotel has a serious bed bug infestation. My hands and body are covered in bites. The hygiene standards are unacceptably poor. Please, save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere else."

"The rooms are not as pictured. There is a bare wall with appliances from the 80s. There is cracked floors, and walls. The management is very aggressive and threatening. No breakfast. It's not a safe area in town. "

"The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. So if you are just looking for a place to sleep, it's great. The pool area was nice, but small. The furniture in our room was worn and damaged. The doors did not fit right, so there was a gap that you could see through. It was actually located in an industrial park, not really in a convenient location for walking anywhere, although there was a Waffle House nearby. Breakfast was ok. "While check in went well, the room was a disappointment. Too bad we couldn’t take a virtual tour of the room like they do now of houses. The light switch to the bathroom was located on the outside wall and the sink was outside the bathroom as well. The exhaust fan sounded like a jet engine , so if either of us neede the bathroom during the night, it meant the other person was awakened as well. The only tolerable aspect was the breakfast. "We were extremely happy with our room, which was clean and comfortable. All staff was kind, helpful, and courteous! Shout out to Raul, who was Amazing! The grounds/pool were cleaned every morning, but with baseball tournaments in the area it was a difficult task to keep up! No complaints! "

"We were pleased overall with the property and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. Two concerns that we had were the inconvenience of the broken elevator especially with the number of kids and families in the lobby and lounge areas. Secondly we were most disappointed at the ongoing running and playing on each of the floors by the kids that were staying at the hotel.
