Hotel Spa di Newton Aycliffe

"Breakfast poor quality. Pool area poor condition, and not inviting for children. Dirty rooms bedding ect"

"Staff were kind and friendly. Food was good in the bar but over priced. My room was grubby, the bedding and bathroom were clean but there was dust and dirt on the ledges and windowsills. No shower gel in the bathroom either. I was also above the kitchen there was lots of banging about outside and a constant humming/droning from what sounded like extractor fans. This did stop around 9pm but then started up again at 10pm. It was really quite loud, I could still hear it when I had my headphones...

"The staff are friendly and helpful but the hotel could do with some TLC. Last stayed in a lovely quirky room, latest stay was disappointing as the bathroom was in need of a refurbishment. Rooms are clean and comfortable just a little tired looking."

"Lovely room - spacious and very comfortable. No hot water unfortunately for the shower. Good location for public transport into Durham (bus) and close to shopping. "
