"Lovely warm welcome and a great place to spend New Year’s Eve. This was our second trip to The Marine Troon and each time we have been really impressed by the team throughout the hotel, the rooms and the most impressive setting. It’s hard to believe you’re only 30mins or so from Glasgow "

"Fabulous place to stay . Lovely rooms . Situated 5 minutes walk from the station and 15 minutes away from the back . Nick the host so helpful , recommended places to get breakfast ( can recommend the cafe Gro , fabulous coffee and food ) Would stay here again . Lovely. Thanks Nick we loved it . Janet "

"Plenty of parking at front of hotel. Really helpful staff especially Jepson who sorted a ground floor room for me. Nice spacious clean comfortable room. Breakfast is 7-10 am so plenty of time to get served . Lovely evening meal and quite reasonably priced for a nice hotel. I asked for chips instead of rice but was later advised rice was an integral part of the dish. "Rooms were well equipped, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was decent with efficient setup. The area is right by Central Station, which isn't pretty, but is near shopping and transport hubs. We had adjoining rooms. There were no balconies as far as I could tell. It's a convenient and friendly hotel."
