"We reserved the room online, got there at 11pm to check in and they sold the room to fisherman. We had no where to stay and had to scramble to find a place . Awful!"

"Nicely renovated art, deco style old hotel. The lobby was a little sparse, but I wasn’t really spending my time there anyway. Conveniently located right downtown and walking distance to some restaurants. The free parking available behind the hotel was wonderful!"

"Computers were down when we arrived, so check-in took 30 minutes. Room had a drain in the floor which smelled of feces. Shower floor was cracked. All in all it was ok, but not deserving of the high rating it had."

The front desk associate came across as dismissive, particularly when she realized our reservation had been booked through a third-party service. The way she requested an alternative form of payment felt rude and unwelcoming. Additionally, when we got to our room, there was no shower soap in the bathroom. "Breakfast area was very small with only 1 table. Did not stay for breakfast. Rug in room was filthy. Had to wash my feet after walking on the rug and that was after I took a shower. Washcloth came back gray. I did take a photo of washcloth. For some reason my computer won't import my photo from my phone. TV was plugged into a dead outlet. Had to relocate TV plug to get TV to work. Bed was comfy and A/C worked well. Bathroom had an underlying scent of urine."
