Hotel Dekat New City Library

"Room was very clean and modern. Our stove didn’t work but good to have a sink, fridge and freezer. Check-in went well and there were several carts available to transport luggage. Overall enjoyed the stay with a family of 5. The sofa bed wasn’t the most comfortable but we made it work."

"Staff was great & room was reasonably clean. Hotel needs serious updating. Appliances were old and beat up. Rusted bathroom lighting was nasty. Rugs need to be replaced."

"Room was semi-clean. Furniture was worn and lamp was broke. None of the ice machines worked except for the one on the main floor. The vending machines only took dollar bills no credit cards and only $1 or $5 and the front desk did not have change. Not alot to watch on TV unless you paid for it. Front desk staff was very nice."

"The bath has only a handicap shower with two drains, one outside. the shower on floor. The floor was terribly wet after shower. I did place towels down but I almost fell whenI slipped. The bathroom floor needed a thorough cleaning. I dont think the rugs were cleaned in a while. The staff was nice."

"I am used to a higher standard hotel. This is more of a motel style. However very clean. New sheets/pillows. Nice easy breakfast options. Staff was lovely, friendly & helpful with restaurants etc. Not fancy but walking distance to Nyack restaurants."

"Room clean. Food, drinks and staff very good. A/C SO loud, I had to turn it off to sleep, then woke up sweating, ugh. Rooms need soundproofing, very noisy from hallway and other rooms. Woman talking so loud for over an hour from neighboring room around 6 am. Pool area is set up nicely. Lots of trouble checking in and out. Apparently Expedia didnt send the reservation to them. I did only book 3 hrs prior but it took a long time to resolve with them and Expedia. Then when checking out, they...

"I was truly not expecting this hotel to be so cute, quiet, and vast. It was conveniently situated close to an event we attended over the weekend and close enough to good restaurants. I only wish their restaurant was open, and I wished their coffeehouse had more breakfast options, but for a new hotel, they’re nailing it so far. I loved sitting on the bridge in the morning and watching the wildlife around the reservoir. I’d come back for a quiet weekend!"

"My room was very clean. The staff were very helpful and handled everything very professionally. I always enjoy having breakfast in the morning. Great parking as well. I always like to park with a view of my vehicle from my room. I highly recommend the Holiday inn. I'm already planning my next stay with them next month."

"Staying at Residence Inn is always nice because rooms are like apartment units. They are spacious and have everything you need for a flexible and comfortable stay. There were some imperfections in cleanliness with our unit at the Orangeburg location, but we didn’t complain since we were checked in early. Front desk staff were very kind and helpful as well. Although there aren’t too many hotel options in the area, we will likely stay here again the next time we visit."

"Thin walls, was woken up at 2 am for something I didn’t want to hear. Overall place is okay but didn’t have the best experience. I kept getting some weird vibes from the front desk so not sure if I’ll be back here. I’ve stayed at the other hotels near by and for sure way better experience and ambient."
