"Awesome funky little place. Very comfortable. Super friendly owners. Gas station next door. Restaurant up the street. My room was very clean and comfortable. This is a great place to stay is Austin is your destination or just a convenient stop along your way. Not much else in either direction for a while. But thankfully, this isn’t one of those “because it’s the only option” places. I’ll plan to stay here rather than my usual stop in Ely next time I’m coming through on 50."

"Decent place to stay after a 700 mile drive. We had a large suite which met all our needs. Water was hot and shower pressure was good. Beds were confortable. Blackout curtains were good. Breakfast was not appealing and limited to coffee and juice. Only food items were instant oatmeal and packaged bakery items and nut bars. Amenities not great but if you want a comfortable bed and a good night rest then this will suffice."

"Drill for 14 hours only to arrive and find out they placed me in the annex which is away from the main hotel, which includes the indoor hot tub and swimming pool. Would never have reserved this room and I know I would not have access or at least have not to walk across a highway to get to the swimming pool. The receptionist didn’t really care and said if I’ve booked directly with them, they’ve got me a room at the main casino since I went through Expedia they weren’t willing to help me way shape...

"Funky, with spirit! I love the fact that the new owners were up front about their investment in the older property and passionate about gradually bringing it up to speed. It’s a classic motel in need of care, which means in need of customers. The room was totally clean, easy access, and easy parking for a motorcycle. I’m sure I’ll stay again, as it’s on my US 50 route for road trips. Keep this one going!"
