"It is beyond me how this hotel can have such high ratings. It is dated, moldy, smelly, with service that leaves much to be desired for not to mention a 40 minute wait for a table at breakfast that was included in our rate. There is little that is 5 star about this property other than its size. It is old and dated inside and out, has mold on the walls as in the attached images and enough potpourri in the lobby to make your head spin, which could be on account of the mod. We got sat at a filthy table at the bar which was cleaned just when our drinks arrived and essentially everywhere you look - everything is subpar. Dinner at their Asian restaurant was not bad as far as food quality, but again, service left much to be desired for. Our first full day the property we descended for breakfast to learn there is a 40 minute wait and some 25 parties head of us, all in uproars as people had flights, tours and meetings to attend to. The wait was not even worth it as breakfast was nothing to write home about. This was unlike anything we experienced before at Taj properties and a grave disappointment. We hope the management can take necessary steps to one day have this property live up to the brand's reputation. Until then, if you value cleanliness, service and a a five star experience - stay away from this place."

"This was a wonderful stay. I went during summer and the pool was a welcome amenity for the sweltering days. The hotel is near Connaught Place and most of the attractions are a short ride away. I also want to compliment the cleaning staff. I was away for 2 days on an excursion and when I returned to the room, it was beautifully cleaned and the staff thoughtfully left nail polish remover, nail clippers and a file. I’m not sure if it was because of an earlier request for a pedicure (which their spa doesn’t offer) but my nail polish was wrecked and I was so relieved to remove it. I didn’t ask for these items but they were greatly appreciated. I definitely will stay here again when I visit India again."

"Had a fantastic stay at Bloomrooms @ Janpath — absolute value for money and easily a 5-star experience in terms of location, service, cleanliness, guest experience, and food. The hotel is located on the quieter Janpath Lane just off the bustling main road, making it both peaceful and extremely well connected. The metro station, taxis, shopping areas, cafés, and Connaught Place are all within easy reach. What I loved most was the hotel’s unique traveller-friendly vibe. The yellow-and-white decor creates a cheerful ambience, and despite being in a compact urban space, the interiors are so intelligently designed that the hotel never feels cramped or claustrophobic. The third-floor common sit-out area was a lovely surprise, with couches, books, and a coffee machine — a great place to relax. The QR-code-based system for toiletries, ordering food, accessing menus, and chatting with the hotel staff was extremely convenient and made the stay feel modern and seamless. Housekeeping was excellent throughout, and the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely customer-centric. The café food was outstanding despite a limited menu. Special mention for the bed — one of the most comfortable hotel mattresses I’ve slept on while travelling. Also appreciated the graciously approved 2-hour late checkout. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Delhi."
