"Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at the old garage, very clean very homely and very modern, everything you could need for a break away, we did find the bed a little on the hard side but everyone has different comfort level with that, shower was amazing, host was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed on arrival, would definitely stay again if we were in the area! "I really liked the vibe of Laguna hotel and would stay there again. I feel like the hospitality is from another era. If you don't mind walking a bit, there is a nice park that stretches all the way to the beach without too much walking along streets and so it was nice to have a long weekend with nice strolls instead of running up the uber bill. Walkable for restaurants as well."

"I really enjoyed my stay at The Gainsborough. You honestly couldn't ask for a better location. It's just a block from the square and an easy 10 min walk from Bath Spa train station, so getting around the city was effortless. The hotel was spotless, and the staff were friendly and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. The one small downside of being so central was some noise, though that was probably due to where my room was located. If you're a light sleeper, it may be worth requesting a quieter room. The spa was the highlight. It was absolutely wonderful and a perfect way to unwind after exploring Bath. Overall, a lovely stay, and I'd happily come back."

Only criticisms is that for me there could have been a wider choice of fruit and that finding room to sit at breakfast was quite difficult, despite the efforts of the staff to prepare tables as soon as they were vacated."

Also we mistakenly left an item in the room which the hotel staff told us was not handed in which is again very disappointing when staying at an upmarket hotel."
