"The room was clean and comfortable. The staff is great — this is a family-run, non-chain hotel, and everyone is very friendly. It’s in a residential neighborhood, so it’s pretty quiet. I’d stay there again. "
The Sandman Santa Rosa Sonoma, an Ascend Collection Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"I was pleasantly surprised by this property. After I booked, someone told me Sandman Hotels were known to be cheap, on par with Motel 6. I wouldn't call it luxurious, but really, the place was clean and cozy, with nice upgrades (e.g., shower, bathroom vanity, live potted plants in the bedroom). We didn't partake, but upon check-in there were sign-ups for zoomba and yoga classes. The pool area was cute with plenty of pool chairs and tables. At night, the fire pits were lit. The included breakfast was held in the pool bar. There were hot items, eggs, bacon, DIY waffles, fruit, yogurt, cereal, coffee. An employee was there continuing refilling the food, and keeping the buffet tidy. It was a pretty good setup for the price. Parking was free and easy. They also did a nice job on the landscaping. If you need something clean and reasonably priced, but like that boutique feel, this is a good choice. I would book here again. "
"Our stay was wonderful! The room was clean, comfortable, great bed and amenities. Location is great! Quiet and well landscaped. Enjoyed the lobby/patio bar as well as our own patio. Would definitely stay again. "
