"If you want to stay as close to Hearst Castle as possible, this hotel is a good choice. There aren’t a lot of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is quiet and there are some nice views to be had. However, if you are willing to be a little further from Hearst Castle, the town of Cambria is a great option and is more vibrant. "

Very clean...quite...polite and helpful staff....the restaurant has a great menu and very nice wait staff...pools and hot tubs are great...nice beach access...the weather was great....close by Cambria and Hearst Castle...the wildlife was wonderful this trip...the zebras were out and grazing. Hwy 1 is open and the scenery was wonderful."
