"Berry Hill Resort is a gorgeous, top-notch historical site with all the amenities and comforts needed for a restful vacation, wedding or anniversary celebration, family reunion and any other occasion. The resort is pet-friendly and guest-focused. Breakfast is nicely done with delicious hot foods, muffins and pastries, fruit, oatmeal, juices and delicious coffee. The staff members are very pleasant, helpful and well-trained in the fine art of hospitality and service. The guest rooms are elegantly furnished in period decor, the bed comfortable and the room, bath and coffee areas are spacious. We stay at Berry Hill Resort several times a year and are always pleased with our visits."

"Decent hotel with exceptional friendly service. Rooms are large and clean. Don't expect the Marriott. I have stayed here multiple times, I love that it's dog-friendly, staff is always so very welcoming. Breakfast is nothing to shout about... but there's coffee and juice and toast and a waffle machine. Eggs are powdered... Overall, a stellar deal for those staying in Altavista. "

"We booked the beautiful house to stay in for our daughter’s freshman move-in at Liberty University. She actually said that this was the best place I’ve ever booked (for anything). IT IS BEAUTIFUL, inside and out. The house was exceptionally clean and even had a nice subtle fresh scent. There were snacks, which were a hit with our 3 college-aged young adults. I feel that the hosts put their heart into every detail of our stay. We truly appreciated the hospitality of our hosts, and the memories that we made for our daughter’s move-in. We could not have been more pleased!! We hope to stay with you again in the future!"
