"The host goes out of his way to make you feel at ease and answered questions we didn't even know we had. Restaurants and shopping are walking distance away and some amazing snorkelling and baby shark sightings out past that Maui jetty. Their garden is spectacular and all done by hand and Dee's brewed coffee is better than even Cafe Planet's up the road. 10/10 will try again . Thank you Ken and Dee :)"

The Beachouse

2/10 Terrible

"Beware! Great happy hour. Some nice individuals on staff. But power went out a few times. The wall outlets never functioned. The room was missing listed amenities like a refrigerator. No hot water at all. One effort for housekeeping over 5 days but we had a kiddo sleeping for that one missed chance. The big problem was I paid for a direct booking on their site but their site messed it up. I called when everything about the confirmation was wrong. I was advised to book 3rd party and did so with Hotels.com. They never resolved the original booking and ultimately I paid nearly 3x what the booking was supposed to cost for our two bures. Zero effort to fix because it’s a planned scam. I’d avoid the place completely but definitely don’t book direct."

"The bar staff and pool excellent for a cool dip. Very helpful and friendly staff for meals and room service. We found it to be a great a great family getaway. The grounds were well kept and maintained, with alot of fun to be had. A few drinks and a great game of golf. Walked up the beach to find white coral sand beaches with great snorkeling in the reef. Very safe"

"Staff was AMAZING, especially Simeli, Mereoni from Activities and Maggy at reception. You can learn so much about Fijian culture with the Fire Walkers, trip to the village, Kava ceremony, etc. The beach was beautiful and the rooms fantastic. The food was delicious and the hospitality of everyone went far and beyond. Vinaka!"

"We absolutely had the best time ever, the most gracious and easy stays we've ever experienced. The staff were loving, peaceful and so helpful. The staff at Kana Restaurant were the highlight of our trip, with always accommodating my son with his dietary needs. We absolutely were gutted to leave and would definitely visit here again. Thank you so much Outrigger for such an amazing and unforgettable experience."

"Pros- The bures were really spacious and the beds comfy, gardens lush and well maintained. Breakfast had enough choice. Staff were very nice and helpful. Cons- The resort is definitely in need of maintenance everything is starting to look like it’s falling apart particularly around the pool restaurant area. We didn’t have a hot shower the whole time we were there. The food was just ok and not many options around."
