"The staff (especially Erica) were excellent and the beach access was actually a two-minute walk from the front entry! Rooms were very clean and breakfast was hot. Had a balcony room that was great for sunrise/sunsets! Will be back!"

"The bars are less than great so we would suggest finding another bar nearby to utilize. Drinks were incorrectly mixed resulting in bad tasting drinks. Everyone should know how to make an Old Fashioned that taste great!"

"This is by far one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. My partner and I loved how spacious and clean everything was. Staff was amazing and friendly upon first impressions. Pool area was clean and the sun didn’t directly hit us due to the building, so you don’t have to worry about getting a tan lol. The only thing I would say I wasn’t a fan of is that there wasn’t as many options for breakfast (loved the waffles though). Overall amazing stay & would definitely stay again!!"

"My husband and I loved our stay at the Carr Mansion! This historical home was charming, clean, and comfortable. Joellyn was a fabulous host; she served delicious breakfast and offered several tips/ recommendations for activities around the island. The location of the home is near to several other historical landmarks/ museums, the Strand, and the Seawall. "Terrific stay! The employee in the front office was extremely helpful. I was allowed to leave my suitcase with him since I got in extremely early. We also were allowed to use the pool before checking and given towels. Check in and out was very smooth and easy. I would definitely stay here again."
