We mostly connected with the Brassier staff and they were absolutely AMAZING. We really would like to point out Norman. He was outstanding and very knowledgeable. He made our evening and stay 10x better with his presence."

"For this type of hotel/category, there's a number of things that need improving: 1) Check-in: firstly, the hotel charges a €50-75 charge for an early check-in. This seems excessive and out in line with hotels in far more cosmopolitan cities. It's a small hotel, so room turnover etc should be more manageable. Secondly, the check-in desk is too small and ill-positioned so that when you do everyone have suddenly checking in at once, it forms a line with people not really having anywhere to...

"The apartment itself was excellent - very comfortable with lots of space. Location was great with some excellent restaurants nearby. A place called Do Belo was our favourite and within 5 minutes walk. Staff were brilliant, but the check in process was a bit complicated as we arrived after 8pm. We had to go to the sister hotel to pick up our room keys before going to the hotel itself. It was only about 7 minutes walk between the two locations, but after a long journey to the Netherlands I'd have...

"Positive: very good location and very friendly and helpful staff. Negative: All consecutive rooms we were given, had broken A/C when temperatures outside were 35C / 94F. Finally a small fan was given. So-called on-site parking is a few streets away, through super narrow entrance gate. Hotel looks like it might have been posh a century ago, now it is just broken and sticky. Not worth the money, a youth hostel would be cleaner and more attractive compared to this sad leftover of a hotel… I want...
