"The property was on a quiet street but near a main road with restaurants, a Tesco and a Boots nearby. Our room was renovated with a beautiful bathroom with monogrammed towels and bedding. The doors were activated by a key code given at check-in. Staff were very helpful and we had a wonderful three night stay."

"Our daughter stayed there, she was presenting for her PhD at Oxford’s U and we were supposed to be present there, however, the visa glitch for my wife prevented us from attending. According to my daughter she had great time at the hotel"

"It’s an expensive novelty, it’s comfortable and in a good location. Would have been good to have some historical information on the walls and made more of the fact that it is a very old prison."

"Great location. Quiet and peaceful hotel. Lots of natural light and cool breeze from the garden. The kitchenette has a real small sized refrigerator and not the useless dorm sized one. Waking distance to many great restaurants in Summertown with easy bus access to Oxford city center. "

"My cousin and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Area was nice and clean. Fortunate to get good weather to enjoy the grounds. Got to see horse dressage and the breakfast was enjoyable. Saw peacocks, birds, sheep, and the dog. We had both the veggie and non-veg option. Uber was our mode of transport- each trip into town was between 15-20 GBP. Nice pub within walking distance. Excellent city break. Would highly recommend."

"We stayed one night and walked to Oxford. Many alternatives for breakfast and dinner nearby."

"Voco is a nice hotel, however it is quite a walk to the centre of Oxford and not really centel as it might claim. I was dissapointed with the cost of parking even though there is lots of parking available and Voco is very expensive you still had to pay more for parking and the EV charging was also very expensive."
