Coffee shop and bar/restaurant adjacent to property and we had coupons included for $15 per person per day that we could use there, which was great! Thanks for the memories! Go, Hawks!"

"The staff at the check who checked me in was very pleasant and kind, made me feel at ease, provided information and went above and beyond. The location is convenient, the view from our room was pleasant. The room was very clean, amenities were all in the room. Coffee was available in the room with the k-cup and water was provided. We did not have time to use the pool and the hot tub, we were there for graduation."

"I loved everything about the property. Everything was well-maintained, clean both in the lobby and the rooms, the beds were very comfortable, the breakfast was good, and the staff was very friendly. Next time I return, I will stay at the same Element Iowa hotel. 100% recommended."

"The room is clean. Staff there are very helpful. You could store your luggage at the front desk before you check in or after you check out. There is a free shuttle bus to the hospital. Complimentary breakfast AND dinner every day."

"Rude front desk staff. No towels in the room. Didn't bring new towels when asked, we had to ask someone at the front desk again later. Room and bathroom were filthy and not cleaned. It appeared that the cleaning staff only made the bed and then left prior to checking in. The room rate was way too high so the pricing seemed as though the hotel regularly practiced gouging customers. Horrible experience, room, staff, pricing and stay. I do not recommend staying here for anyone."

"Stayed here overnight on a visit to Univ of Iowa Hospital. Rate was excellent. Under $90 on Expedia. Room was adequate. Only thing I noticed was a hair in the sink. Other than that, it was clean. Furniture was a dated. Breakfast was marginal. Only thing I ate was instant oatmeal, juice and an english muffin. Okay for sleeping and showering but price was outstanding. "
