"We opted for three nights here after 2 nights at a 5-star in old town Yogyakarta and were delighted the contrast. This was quiet and more personable. The "in-village" experience was pleasant, never obtrusive. Security and comfort were good. Though much was written in other reviews about the noise from the mosques nearby, they did not bother us at all - it was actually a nice sampling of one part of life for most Indonesians and not disturbing of our rest. "This hotel is in a very strategic location where a lot of expats hang out in the restaurants nearby it is fairly soundproof so the mosque noise doesn't really bother you if you're a decent sleeper unless you're sitting outside on your balcony which is kind of nice it's very pretty it's not perfect by any means of course no hotel is the bed was okay the room service was really good really cheap and again strategic location I would give it a 7.5 out of 10"

"The location is perfect and the staff is wonderful. The hotel is just off a main street, so it is quiet at the hotel but you are close to many restaurant, cafes, and bars. You can book tours and airport transport at the front desk."
