"I like to walk and it was a little out of the way for Calle Larga or Park Calderón, but I did get to check out the little plaza near by that had a great set of restaurants and a museum of modern art.     "We had an amazing stay at Mansion Alcazar. The hotel has this classic cozy vibe and the room was incredibly beautiful!! It has also a great location near Cuenca's historic centre, but far enough so that the noise and movement of people didn't disturb us. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and assorted, we enjoyed local cuisine as well as american-style dishes. The Staff were super friendly and even helped us reserve a local tour to Cajas. If I had just one suggestion, is that our room was probably near the kitchen and in the early morning while sleeping we could hear the Staff talking and we woke up. As I said, probably due to our room's location. However, we would still return anytime!"
