"Great hotel. The room was beautiful as well as the direct view of the Cathedral across the street. The shower was hot, which was not my experience in Managua. I would stay here again. One note: you can hear noise from the street at night, so if you are a light sleeper, request a room not next to the street, but further inside."

"Overall a great stay; clean interior; historic facilities were balanced with up-to-date with maintenance; staff accommodated a later room check-out with time to shower after volcano boarding; parking had to be valet in attached area though very secure, premises were well-lit; air of tranquility in courtyard; location in city center was very good (only a few blocks from the main church); fast check-in/check-out; wish they had more fluent English speaking staff. "The rooms had private bathrooms which usually would cost more at other hotels. Receptionist was really friendly and helpful. You can park your car in nearby car parks if you need. The walk was a little far from the center of the town but still ok. We could do the laundry there with the machines which was great. Maybe some curtains to block the light in the windows would be great, as well as less high pillows. The bathroom was generally clean but there were still some hairs in the shower."

"Great quiet place in central San Juan del Sur. The beach and a lot of restaurant and shops at walking distance. Clean, comfortable with AC and good wifi, great pool with a beautiful mango tree above, simply paradise! You can really make yourself a home with the kitchen and living room. "
