"It was cheap, but I will spend more next time. Things are pretty old and worn. The room reeked of stale cigarette smoke, and there was a lot of road noise from a nearby freeway. The air conditioning system showed an error, and didn’t appear to operate. The guy at the front desk did give me some air freshener to mask the odor in the room. No breakfast, just coffee, which I did not try."

"5 star experience across the board for the stay. the food was excellent but being that i have stayed at higher end hotels than this I would not be honest in saying its the best i've ever had but for this level of hotel it truly is great. everything is cooked on site and mostly fresh."

"It is always delightful to stay at the Chrysalis. The view is always special and every room we have stayed in features the view and giving you every opportunity to enjoy it in a peaceful way. "The property is clean and the staff are friendly, but the building itself is poorly constructed. You could hear upstairs footsteps, literally felt like they were stepping on your head. So, the quality of your stay depends on who your neighbors are. Breakfast was just ok, nothing to be super excited about."
