"Stayed for one night in one of the standard double rooms. All the staff from check-in to check-out were friendly & helpful, the room itself was perfect (lots of space in the room, has a desk and tv, bed was comfy, shower was a lot bigger then we expected very modern, it had a small fridge and everything was clean). Restaurant & bar downstairs which was really good. Just remember there is no lift (which they state on the listing) if you come with heavy/lots of bags. This was no bother to us...

"The experience was absolutely lovely and had many little touches that made it more unique like the sloe gin in our room and the quiet lounge which we enjoyed a complementary whiskey in. The breakfast was the best we have had and we have stayed in many hotels! The only reason I haven’t given this a full 5 stars on the service was for 1 reason only and that was when we ordered our drinks for dinner it took about 10-15 mins to arrive and there was only 8 of us in the restaurant but apart from that...
