"When I see a listing for breakfast, I assume that means it’s complimentary & that wasn’t the case here at all. They offer a bistro in the lobby that serves breakfast, but nothing about it is complimentary. And then they advertise there is a pool, when in fact they haven’t had a pool since Jan 2026. The two reasons I booked this hotel & they falsely advertise it to get guests. Then they label my children as adults. Very strange. You may have got my business this ONE time, but I will not be back."

"I wouldn’t stay again. There is also an unexpected deposit that isn’t mentioned anywhere. There was a gentleman sitting on the luggage trolley because he didn’t have the money for the deposit even though his room was already paid for. The staff just left him there despite having paid for a room."

"The spot was amazing!! Location was perfect for what I went for, which was to see the dodgers play at PNC Park. There were things that visibly need to be fixed, small holes on one wall, fire alarms falling off the wall(still connected) the sink would clog if the water was on to long . But honestly I had a great experience. The room made me want an apartment like that set up. It was down the street from good food amd the ballpark was a 7 minute walk. The room was very clean. "We've been staying at Mansions on Fifth for several years now. We love the hotel and location. However, we were disappointed to learn this time that the absolutely wonderful breakfast that was offered earlier (for like $22) is not longer offered. Instead, for $15 you can get a pre-wrapped dried out croissant from some factory in Pittsburgh. Major disappointment. They have the facilities to offer breakfast, all they need to do is cook it."

"I had to call for clean towels on the evening of the second day. I had the sign out because we had a late start that day. Gone by 9:00 am. Maybe housekeeping came through early and say the sign. Why can't they mark the room and come back after they are done with the other rooms. It should not take any extra time since they did not have to spend time on the first pass."

"This place was just ok. I was pleased the pool was clean and in working order, but otherwise there was a lot that was underwhelming. On our second day, our keys stopped working, and when I went to get new ones, had to wait a long while because lots of folks were checking in and some were returning to the desk because their assigned rooms were dirty or had people actively in them. Overall, kinda spooky vibes, understaffed, and under-cared-for."
