"I booked this for my family during my wedding and wow is all i can say. The soace was stunning and Harriet and Giles just could not do enough for us. I was blown away by theirckindness and generosity. To the point at which they let us put my wedding cake in the fridge. Honestly the best hosts ive ever had. "Another great stay at the Crown & Garter. Friendly helpful check in & room was very comfortable & spotless as usual. Had a meal with family in the evening & can definitely recomnend eating here - food is excellent, using local ingredients. Had bacon rolls to takeaway on checkout, which was a nice surprise. Looking forward to our next stay - we wouldn't go anywhere else when visiting the area."

"Lovely rooms geat value for money. Food was lovely. Bar staff could have been better, didnt have any prosecco in fridge and didbt seem to want to use initiative to solve the issue with ice bucket and ice also told us we could finish our drinks outside at end of night - weird. "

"Room was small,but very clean and warm.Tea and coffee provided. Stayed for one night before going to the ferry port. Breakfast was not included the price but was well worth paying for in the morning. Would definitely use it again. "

"We were only staying one night while we were working in the area. The room was large, comfortable and clean. There is a bar which is OK (there are nice pubs a short drive away as well) and the breakfast was a standard hotel buffet but of good quality. There are some very large but very dopey and friendly dogs."
