Comfort Inn Mount Pleasant – Racine

"I had an overall decent day at the Comfort Inn. The staff were very kind. The breakfast was good and what you would expect of a continental breakfast from a hotel of this chain. There was a decent selection of both cold and hot food items. I like that there was 24 hour coffee in the lobby because unfortunately the coffee maker in my room did not work. I found it difficult to navigate the channels on the television, but managed to make it work. My room was clean and I liked that they have updated to hard floors. The bathroom area was small, but manageable. The biggest con that I found from staying here was the noise. The road outside is extremely noisy and it sounded like a fast and furious movie taking place outside! There were also some extremely loud guests on our floor yelling back and forth and slamming doors from 2:30-3AM and yet more guests slamming doors between 5:00 and 5:30 AM…made sleep difficult. While I do recognize that the noise level and door slamming of other guests is not the direct fault of the hotel, it was a nuisance nonetheless."
