"The place was extremely clean. It had a nice small kitchen area and nice refrigerator. The owner was super professional and informative. The facility has a Belizian car you can rent which you'll need because the attractions are not too close. The place is nicely tucked away off the main road going into town."

"Fully stocked kitchen, they thought of all the little things. Host was friendly and showed us where everything was. There are only a few cabins/lodges on the property so it's quiet and peaceful. The pool is small but perfect for cooling off and getting some sun. We even made use of the full-size BBQ by the pool one night.
Lots to do in the area (hiking, waterfalls, Calico Jacks, cave tubing) and San Ignacio is only 40 mins away.
Note: you definitely need an SUV to get there (4x4 in wet...

"The cabin was pleasant, had basic necessities. I deducted two stars because there was absolutely NO COMMUNICATION from the host. The site said there would be no one present at check in and directions would be sent prior to arrival. I heard nothing, even after reaching out multiple times. I was concerned about arriving in early evening and not knowing how to get in. Turns out there was a lock with a key in it in the front door.
Also, not this host’s fault, but it was IMPOSSIBLE to get through...

"They never contacted me to give me information on how to access the property, and did not respond to messages. I was forced to last minute rebook over the Holidays, and now hotels are refusing to give me a full refund."
