"Cahernane is a favorite when we are traveling in Killarney. The grounds are beautiful and walkable, there is parking on site, and we can easily walk into Killarney for shopping, restaurants, and sightseeing. The rooms are steeped in history and are always nicely appointed. There is a very nice/restaurant/bar downstairs which we usually frequent at least once during our stay there. The breakfasts are exceptional and overlook the grounds behind the hotel. You can also walk to the racetrack nearby and sip a coffee while overlooking the mountains."
