We expected more from a Howard Johnson chain hotel. But we were warned when we went to the elevator and the entrance was black with years of use. The hotel itself was clean, but outdated. The bathroom bars were rusty and the towels were threadbare. There was a hair dryer, but it didn’t work. The plugs and light switches were totally outdated. The beds were very uncomfortable. The hallways were not lighted well and the carpet seemed to be from the 70’s. Good thing the floor in the bedroom was not carpeted! We ate breakfast there one morning. Decent but slow and not anything to get excited about. We had to ask for things several times before they were brought to us. Unfortunately, I don’t recommend staying there.
