Sunshine Mountain Lodge

"Had only a one day stay during a longer trip through the Banff and Jasper areas. Staff was great, accommodated an early check out and provided transportation down the mountain. Luggage was sent up the gondola separate when we arrived and was waiting in our room after a hike. Front desk at the bottom of Gondola and at the front desk of the Hotel were outstanding. We will be back for sure!"

"Loved the location amazing view accept when you wake up and there’s coach loads of people outside your room thought it was in a peaceful location but it’s not open to public who walk around taking photos should be mentioned when booking spoilt the relaxing part so many tourist"

"Hidden Ridge is a great base camp for your Banff adventures! Our unit was clean, spacious and had everything we needed to prepare simple meals. Excellent customer service from start to finish. Hot and cool pools were clean, lots of towels, and breathtaking views of the mountains. Location is perfect (you're within walking distance of the town and the Hoodoo Trail). The only issue I can think of is, our unit (ground floor townhouse) was dated looking and very dark, but this is a minor quibble. Would stay here again!"

"Great location. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent. The ONLY thing to complain about were the stairs. No elevators. Lugging the suitcases up and down was challenging."

"Great for the price on just the edge of town, with a shuttle. Could use a little tlc (just wear and tear of a slightly older facility), touching up their paint on outside etc. overall I would stay again as I think it is insane to pay $1000 or more a night for the stuff in town. They were super friendly. And it was nice having a little kitchen."

"Great stay for 6 ngt on Annv vacation. Stayed in king suite. Very roomy, bed comfortable, liked the balcony and fireplace. Room attendant did an amazing job every day!! Only and biggest complaint was terrible cheap coffee in the rooms with no coffee available in lobby either. Had to walk to coffee shop every morning. Thankfully I enjoyed cool air and walk, but always nice to enjoy a cup of coffee relaxing in the hotel room before starting the day!!"
