"I booked a king suite with jetted tub. Immediately upon entering the room the deep smell of cigarette use permeated the room. There were two chairs in the suite part of the room that were severely worn and old and large areas of stains on the carpeting. Walking into the bedroom section the cigarette use smell only worsened although there was an attempt to mask the smell with heavy air fresheners, to no effect. "Always clean and polite staff"

"I had the end room at the end of the main floor. My door directly faced the back door exit that wasn’t secured. Anyone or anything could enter and exit at anytime. The gap under the door was significant enough for anything to crawl in but fortunately it was only the smoke from various smoked items. Cars parked right outside my window within inches The beds were hard and there were silver fish in the bathroom. I only had to stay one night but for the rate, I could’ve stayed at the wilderness...

"Check-in was slow on a Wednesday early evening… But the woman at the desk was very nice and helpful and apologetic. A couple of things I was surprised about was how old the room was, and I’ve never been in a hotel without a coffee maker before, even a cheap one would’ve been nice. The shower and sink situation was very unconventional and not ideal when splitting the room with my teenage son. "Coffee not in room and machine by lobby was out of order the 3 days and 2 nights we were there. Indoor pool was quite cold but outside was just right. Perfect for family with children under 10. Good for the budget and close to everything in town."

There’s wasps nests EVERYWHERE, couldn’t enjoy the balcony due to that and could barely enter the doors without one diving at us, the mini fridge in the room didn’t work, tv remote barely worked and beds were super uncomfortable, the pools were okay but this whole place needs updating. I appreciated the two room option. I don’t think we will stay here again."

"We stayed at Mt. Olympus for a coyple days, and decided to stay one more night in the dells. We were pleasantly surprised by the Econolodge. The staff was warm and welcoming. The indoor pool was clean, not crowded, and open until midnight. The rooms at Mt. Olympus were 3 times the price, and much smaller. My kids said they would prefer to stay here next time we come to the dells."
