We had tickets to a concert at the nearby Mohegan Sun Casino. Rooms at the casino are very pricey so ,after some research, we settled on staying at this hotel. Check in was easy and there is plenty of parking. A buffet style breakfast comes with the room and a free shuttle runs until 2am to and from the casino. All of these features were the positives for the property.
The negative is the condition of the property and the room we received. We arrived at 430 and basically dropped our stuff into our room then went for dinner and our night out. We didn't really check out the room until the next morning before we left.
Most of the furniture looked damaged and the shower was missing grout and also had dirty caulking. The worst thing wss the ceiling above the window by the bed. Obviously there had been a water leak and the repair was poor but in the corner was what appeared to be a section of ceiling covered in mold. It was gross and I would not have stayed if i saw it before. I definitely wont be back to this property until its been upgraded.
