The apartment is very nice and exactly as pictured . It was the perfect choice for some room to spread out and the location is close to everything . Hosts were very helpful and responsive. We felt safe in the building and everywhere we went in Montréal. We would book this property again .

First, I want to say that the location and overall vibe of the apartment were amazing. Host have done a great job with the décor, and the attention to small details throughout the space was impressive. That said, there were several issues that significantly affected our stay: Cleanliness: We were not comfortable with the bedding. When we arrived, we found hair on the pillowcases and bed sheets, which made us question whether the linens had been freshly changed. No duvet cover: The duvet itself did not have a proper cover. Instead, it was placed between two bed sheets, which did not feel hygienic or comfortable. Bathroom sink: The bathroom sink was clogged and clearly needed cleaning or maintenance. Insects: This was the biggest issue. There were countless spiders and ants throughout the apartment. We also found two large black wasps inside, which I had to remove myself. We never opened the windows during our stay, so it seemed likely that they were entering through gaps in the walls, windows, or another opening. Noise complaint from downstairs: I don't know if the flooring has poor sound insulation, but we were very conscious about keeping noise to a minimum. Despite that, about 30 minutes after we arrived, a downstairs neighbor came to the door and began complaining about stomping which I assume was due to the property being old and lack of soundproofing.
