The hotel is in need of some work to say the least. Unfortunately they masked the odors of decay with an overpowering mixture which could best be described as a combination of old grandmother’s perfume and day old curry.
The room was spacious for a suite. The furniture old, dated, and ready for a yard sale. Despite all this, the room was clean, the linens fresh, and everything was functional. Toilet and shower area was better than most mid level hotels.
Overall, exceptional value for a solo traveler or a family on a tight budget. Pool area looked like it had not seen water in years.
The staff were diligent in prohibiting early check in and literally called forty five minutes prior to check out to confirm you were prepared for departure, giving you a sense of not being their guest but rather a commodity that they were flipping in accordance with their schedule.
Definitely the fast food version of motels. I would guess the value of the stay has reached the top of the roller coaster and would not circle this place on my calendar if I were to pass by this way in a year from now. Still, this box of chocolates had enough nice pieces left to walk away feeling I was not cheated by the roadside efforts of the current establishment.
High on value. Low on execution.
