"Everything was perfect"

"Perfect hotel"

"The grounds, rooms, food, and amenities at Sibu Lodge were exceptional. The property is beautifully maintained, and overall it was a wonderful place to stay. Service, however, was inconsistent. Our breakfast and lunch servers were very good—Marilynne, in particular, stood out for her warmth and attentiveness. Unfortunately, our dinner experience was quite the opposite. Both Eric and Katherine appeared preoccupied with paperwork, and we were largely ignored throughout the meal. At one point, a fly landed in one of our water glasses. When Katherine eventually came to the table, we informed her. She removed the glass, but despite our request for a replacement and a refill for the table, she did not return for nearly 20 minutes. There was no apology or acknowledgment, which came across as dismissive and unprofessional. This was especially disappointing given how much we were otherwise enjoying our stay. With more consistent service, particularly during dinner, the overall experience would have been outstanding."

"Hotel Los Lagos is the best hot springs resort at Arenal. The price is reasonable, the hot springs are great, the slide is fun, the breakfast is fantastic, the staff is helpful and friendly. I cannot say a bad thing about this resort, everything was great. This was my 2nd visit this year, and, I have visited this resort, maybe 8 or 10 times over the years."
